Biography
Maalavika was born in Chennai and she completed her education from Hyderabad. She later went to Chennai to complete her graduation. It is known that she started practicing music at the age of 2.5. Maalavika revealed that one of her friends, Nityashri was also a contestant on the show and this inspired her to perform in Indian Idol.
She said that her friend is really successful at the moment and she wants to follow the footsteps of her friend so that she get more fame in Industry.

It is known that Maalavika started practicing music at a very early age and she made a debut with the song known as Nuvvu Nenu Kalisunte.
