IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection; the institute is responsible and formed to conduct a different set of exams related to bank sector job categorized as Clerk, PO and other technical and non-technical jobs. There are total 19 banks collaborated as part of the recruitment process of IBPS Examination.

IBPS conducts Common Written Exam (CWE) and the motto of the exam is to recruit for the different positions and designations in these 19 banks for the posts available as Clerk, PO and SO. IBPS Examination Process

As we have already mentioned that the IBPS is the collaboration of 19 public banks in India, those aspirants appear for the IBPS Exam, as you clear the examination IBPS will give you the score card. The scorecard available with you will be eligible as one of the main access for the interview in 19 established banks chain part of IBPS. Mostly all leading banks of India are part of the selection process available with IBPS, one of the leading and most prominent names in banking sector SBI is not part of IBPS. SBI or State Bank of India conducts its own recruitment process separately.

Eligibility

There are different grounds on age limitation and the educational qualification that makes you eligible for the IBPS examination, all the details are mentioned below.

Age Limit

Candidates with the wish to appear for the IBPS examination should fall in the age grade between 20 to 28 years of age, the age should be completed on the particular date mentioned for the examination. Special age relaxation is available for the candidate part of reserved category seats, the information for the same is available as per the Government Reservation Policy.

Educational Qualifications

There are different ranges of qualifications that are attached or linked to each of the posts, for the PO Educational Qualification is Graduation Degree from any of the Central recognized institution. Candidates applying for the IBPS examination must carry analytical skill and vast knowledge about the basic computer knowledge.

IBPS PO Examination Schedule

As per the available information, the online registration for IBPS Examination will start by the month of July 2017 and will be available to fill the form and fees by August 2017.  IBPS PO/MT Preliminary Exam Dates for CWE VII is 07.10.2017, 08.10.12017, 14.10.2017, and 15.10.2017. IBPS Main Exam will be conducted on 26.11.2017 and the result will be available in December 2017.

Recruitment Process of IBPS

  • Apply for the Examination with online mode of registration.
  • Appear for the Common Written Exam (CWE)
  • Score Card of the IBPS candidates successful in the test will be available online.
  • Based on the score card 19 banks call for the interview.
  • Once the process is over, these banks verify the concern Documents.
  • Appointment letter is issued at the end of the process by concerned bank.
