TMB or we can say Tamilnad Mercantile Bank is one of the well known and prestigious private bank established in the southern part of India. TMB is private sector bank and not part of the IBPS sector bank, hence the IBPS score is not part of the selection process for clerk post. Age Limit
- The Graduate applying for the exam should carry 24 years of maximum age as on 31st of October 2017.
- The Post Graduate applying for the exam should carry 26 years of maximum age as on 31st of October 2017.
NOTE: Age relaxation will be provided to MBC/BC candidates and the limit of relaxation is 2 years for the all other government based relaxation for the reserved category candidates 5 years relaxation is applicable.
Educational Qualification
Graduate from any of the stream (Arts, Commerce or Science) except the engineering course with the minimum 55% score in graduation from recognized university can apply. The course should be regular in manner and candidates should carry knowledge in Computer Operations.
Engineering Graduation degree in any of the engineering course with 60% of the of the total marks from a regular university. The course should be regular and the candidates applying should carry some of the knowledge about computer operations.
Special Mention
- Candidate applying for the TMB clerk post should be fluent in the native language Tamil. He or she should know how to write, read, speak in the Tamil language.
- Graduates or Post Graduates from the Open University or Correspondence course are not eligible for applying as only regular course graduate and post-graduate are invited to apply for the Clerk post.

- Select the option new registration and fill all the needed important information as name, date of birth, contact details and educational qualifications.
- Upload the scanned copy of your signature and photograph.
- Process the fees as mentioned.
Take out the printout copy of the successfully filled form for the future references.
