An upcoming Bollywood war-drama film, Rangoon is directed by one of the finest of the lot, Vishal Bhardwaj. The movie is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala along with the support of Viacom 10 Motion Pictures. The movie sees Kangana Ranaut, Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor star as the main leads.

Storyline
The movie is a period film and will be based on the second world war period. The storyline sees Kangana, Shahid, and Saif in a love triangle. The movie will showcase the life of the first original stunt women of the Bollywood stream, i.e. Mary Ann Evans.
The plot of the movie will see the involvement of India during the second world war and will relate the incidents therein.
The Star Cast
The historical movie set in the background of Second World War sees Kangana Ranaut in an altered look from her previous stints. It also sees Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan portraying military stint in lead roles alongside Kangana.
The movie is the first instance of Shahid and Saif working together in a Bollywood movie.
Production Status
Although Vishal Bhardwaj wanted to pursue Rangoon after the completion of Omkara in 2006, the movie went on to stall for different reasons. The movie was previously titled Julia but was changed to Rangoon later on. The movie saw shooting location as Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and more.
Release Date
The movie is set to release on 24th February of 2017.
