Pawan started his career in 2011 when he got a chance to play in Delhi’s Cricket Team. In 2012, he got a chance to play in Indian Premier League and he started playing for Delhi Daredevils. He played for the team till 2016 and in 2017, he was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore. In season 9 of IPL, he was bought for Rs 8.5 Crore. It is known that he was also selected in the Indian team for 2016 Asian Cup and in 2016, he also got a chance to play in T20 World Cup 2016. Pawan bats in the middle order and his batting average had not been that great. The highest run scored by him in T20 is 41. Though he has a good record in bowling. He played 57 matches in T20 format and he took 47 wickets in these 57 matches.
