2107 November is the month when the tenure of the legislative assembly will expire. So, the time to held election will be most probably the end of November or beginning of December. As its very premature to announce the date officially, it is not announced by the Election Commission of Himachal Pradesh. Situation and Status of the Assembly Election in Himachal Pradesh
The Assembly Election of Himachal Pradesh matters a lot for all the political parties. The major contender parties are Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress. The current Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh is Raja Virbhadra Singh from BJP whereas Prem Kumar Dhumal from Congress is in the opposition. There is not much impact of other political or regional parties in HP but the independent candidates are found to be a candidate in most of the elections. The regional party ‘Himachal Lokhit Party’ has already merged-up with BJP.
The names of the candidates are not declared by any of the parties. They will declare the names soon as soon as the date is announced by the Election Commission of Himachal Pradesh. The new party can be seen this time giving competition to the other two parties which many of us know is Aam Aadmi Party. As per the statement was given by Raja Virbhadra Singh, either he may be the Candidate for Chief Minister or he may choose the name of other. Among 68 seats, 17 seats are reserved for Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe. As there is the entrance of new AAP in Himachal Pradesh this time, it will be quite interesting to see the election and the splitting of the votes among the parties.

The exact result of the election cannot be presumed but the rush and efforts of the parties and past records can provide the reasonable basis to observe the upcoming results which go to BJP.
