Guru is the official remake of the Tamil movie Irudhi Suttru. The movie has also been made in Hindi with the title Saala Khadoos. Director Sudha Kongara Prasad who directed the Tamil and Hindi Version is also directing the Telegu version of the movie with new team and some existing members.
The movie is scheduled to be released in the month of April in 2017. It has been produced by S Sashikanth under the Y Not Studios Productions.
Cast
The movie stars Daggubati Venkatesh in lead role along with Ritika Singh. Interestingly, Ritika Singh has played the role in Hindi and Tamil Movie and she is a real life Martial Mix Boxer for India. She has also won special mention for her role. The movie also stars Nassar.
Story
The movie revolves around a Boxer who could not win a championship for the malpractices of the opponent. However, the dream of winning the Boxing Championship remained in his heart. He found a girl later who is happened to be a Fisher Woman with natural aggression. The coach then trains the girl and goes through ups and downs to make her the champion of Boxing. The movie has real moves and special energy.
Budget
The Movie has been made in moderate budget of INR 40 Crores as reported by the media. However, the official figure has not been revealed by the production company. This would be the third release of the story as a movie in third language and the budget is expected to be the same.
