Biography
Digvijaya Singh was born on 28 February 1947 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. His father Balbhadra Singh was the king of Raghogarh, which comes under the Gwalior State and now is commonly known as Guna District. He got his schooling from the Daly College and finished his graduation from the Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science where he did his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
He got married to Asha Singh in the year 1969. She passed away in the year 2013. He then got into a relationship with Amrita Singh, an anchor at the Rajya Sabha and married her in the year 2015.
Career
Digvijaya Singh started his political career in the year 1970 and joined the Jana Sangh. He then became the Member of the Legislative Assembly. He then became the cabinet minister and minister of State of Madhya Pradesh. Digvijaya Singh became the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh in the year 1993 and remained at the position till December 2003. He then became the MP of Rajya Sabha for Madhya Pradesh on 10th April 2014.
