We know that MCD means ‘Municipal Corporation of Delhi’. We usually use the term ‘Nagar Nigam’. Since the 5 Years terms id about to expire around April, the next Nagar Palika Chunav is going to be held and the dates of it will be declared by the election commission of India soon. The interested candidate can file the nominations in the behalf of any party or as an independent candidate. Currently, BJP is ruling Delhi MCD but it seems that there may be a great competition between AAP and BJP in this coming Delhi MCD election. Besides these two major parties other different regional and national level parties are also putting their lots of efforts to secure few seats for them in the MCD Election. Some of the main parties are INC, BSP, CPIM, RJD, KMPP and others.

Polling Schedule and Dates About Delhi MCD Election 2017

The official announcement regarding the dates and polling schedule is not yet made by the Election Commission of India but it is generally held in the month of April. Notifications, Opinion Poll, and Updates on Delhi MCD Elections 2017

As we already know that Delhi is divided into three regions for coeducation of the election. You can apply to the Election Commission to be listed as a candidate as a representative of any party or as an individual candidate. There was a great victory by BJP in last MCD Election in the year 2012 so it seems quite confident this time also. But the scenario of the opinion poll seems to be different in the case of Delhi MCD this time as AAP seems to be more preferred as per the opinion polls conducted by the ‘All India Word’ or you can also check the updates regarding the preference of Delhi people ‘www.delhimcdelectionsresult2017.in’.

Besides these, you can also see the opinion poll conducted by different media agencies and organizations like Aaj Tak, India Today, Times Now and IBN 7 which can be seen on television. As per the opinion poll conducted by ‘India On Go’ for Delhi MCD Elections 2017, the voting percentage in favor of different parties are as follow-

  • Aam Aadmi Party: 42.93%
  • Bharatiya Janata Party: 41.37%
  • Indian National Congress: 13.17%
  • Other Parties (Inc. Individuals): 3.53%

The major faces from different parties are Arvind Kejriwal, Narendra Modi, Manish Sisodia, Kumar Vishwas, Amit Sah, Rahul Gandhi, Vijender Gupta and few more.

Results
