- You need to ensure that you are eligible for the list by checking your name is there in the beneficiary list for the scheme. The list is available on the official website of Pradhan Mantri Away Yojana. You can access the website by clicking here.
- It is also mandatory to have Aadhar Card to be able to apply for the scheme. It is impossible to apply for the scheme without Aadhaar card hence if you don’t have an Aadhaar card, you should start by Appling for Aadhaar Card.
- You should also have asaving bank account in order to apply for the scheme.
Application Procedure for the Scheme
- The first step is to open the website of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and you can access the website by clicking here. Once the website is loaded, you can now click on Citizen Assessment.
- After clicking on Citizen Assessment, you will get various options and you need to click on the appropriate option such as “Slum Dweller” or “Benefit under Other 3 Components”.
- Once you have clicked on the appropriate option, you will be redirected to a page for application of the scheme and you need to start the same by entering the Aadhaar Number.
- Once you Aadhaar number has been verified, a new page will be displayed and you will have some of the details auto-populated on the page as the details will be pulled up from the Aadhaar Database.
- Now you need to fill the form completely and once you have filled the form, enter the captcha code and click on submit button. The details that you need to fill are personal details, contact details, address, bank account details and the income details.
- Once the form has been submitted, you can obtain the print out of the application procedure and if you need to edit the application form, then you can do the same by clicking on Edit form and then entering your application form and the Aadhaar number.
- You will be notified through email on the acceptance of the form.
