Educational Qualifications
- For all the constable posts recruitment, the minimum educational requirement is 12th pass from recognized state board or equivalent in any of the streams with minimum passing marks.
- The Sub-Inspector posts require a candidate to carry graduation degree in any disciplinary course.
- Knowledge of Hindi or Sanskrit up to 10th level is mandatory.
Details for Constables Physical Standard
- The Height of the General category applicant should be 172 centimeters and the chest measure should be 83 centimeters unexpanded and 87 centimeters when expanded.
- Eligible Reserved Category Students as per the Government notification should be 169 centimeters in height and chest measure should be 81 centimeters unexpanded and 85 centimeters expanded.
Age Limit
The required age limit should be in between 18 to 25 years of age as on 1st February 2017. Relaxation of 5 years in age is applicable for SC, BC, EBPG category.
Selection Process
To make the process more transparent, new measures for the Physical Screening Test is introduced by Government.
- Physical Screening Test with a race of 5kms for Male in 25 minutes, Female 2.5kms in 15 minutes and E.S.M 2.5kms in 13 minutes.
- Knowledge Test will consist of MCQ type questions.
