EWS/DG Results 2018-19 First Merit List of Selected Candidates on 7th March 2018

Edudel EWS/DG Admission Results 2018-19 of Selected Candidates First Draw List is out on 7th March Wednesday – In this year under ews 2018-19 category more than 1,00,000 applications has been applied by the parents.

All the hurdles related to nursery admission for the session 2017-18 has been resolved now, as per the recent notification from the official website of the Nursery admission results for the admission will be declared in two segments. The nursery admission form fill and submission date has already closed as the last date for the admission was 14th February. The first list of EWS/DG Students qualified for different schools in the nursery class will be published on 07th March 2018 on the official website of DOE. The second list, on the other hand, will be displayed and will be available ten days later of the first result, the process has already seen a delay due to the dispute between the official notification from the Government of Delhi.

In the article, we will try to discuss all the related information about the First list of selected candidates for the admission the first list will be available on 7th March. As per the rules and regulation to make the process more transparent and there is no chance of mistake in the allotment of seats for EWS/DG category of admission. This year the candidates will be chosen or selected as per the computer-based lottery, Supreme Court of India initiated the usage of the computer-based lottery as the process will help in right allotment of seats.

As per the “Right to Education”, Supreme Court of India has made it mandatory for the schools taking part in the nursery admission to reserve 25% of the total seat for the EWS/DG category students and the admission of these students are based on a Computerized lottery system.

Steps to check the result

As the EWS/DG Computer based lottery system is new for many of us, we will try to simply mention different steps to check the result of selected candidates on 7th of March.

Step 1: For the start of the process, you need to first launch the official website of DOE in order to check the EWS/DG list of selected candidates. The list of selected candidates can be reached at  http://www.edudel.nic.in/

Step 2: There will be several options related to nursery admission list, the options will be available for the different category of admission. In the available list, select the option with EWS/DG Admission.

Step 3: Now click on the ews/dg result 2018-19 and this page will open http://edustud.nic.in/mis/studentadmission/frmEwsResultAllotmentforPublicParticular.aspx Once you select the category, the next step will be followed with submitting details. In the option, you need to fill the columns available with Registration no of the candidates and the Date of Birth.

If the name of your ward is available on the list, you need to submit the valid documents for the admission process.

Documents needed to be carry for EWS/DG Final Admission

The list of documents valid to prove EWS and DG Category

Proof of Economically Weaker Section (EWS)

  • Income Certificate issued by Tehsildar or Revenue Officer
  • BPL Ration Card with Yellow Color
  • AAY Ration Card Pink Color
  • Food and Security Card issued by the Food and Supply Department of Delhi

Proof of Disadvantage Group (DG)

  • Caste Certificate issued by Revenue Officer of Delhi with not less than Tehsildar post
  • Medical Certificate issued by Government Hospital of India for Special need and Disabled Child.
  • Documentary evidence of Orphan and Transgender

The Nursery admission process will end on 31st March 2018.

NOTE: In the list only the name of selected candidates will be available, if by any chance your child’s name is not available in the list. You need to apply for the admission with General category in such case.
