For the very first time, CRPF is inviting job application for the available choices of tradesman post through online mode, young and enthusiastic candidates may try their luck and ability for the 2,945 posts available in 2017. The process of online admission of candidates will start from 31st January 2017, candidates can submit the form with applicable fees via online mode only by 1st March 2017.
Age Limit
Age criteria are different for different posts, all the related information about age is mentioned below with criteria and date as on 1st January 2017.
- For the post constable driver, the minimum age should be 21 years and the maximum age should be 27 years.
- Constables (All other Trades), the minimum age should be 18 years and the maximum 23 years.
Note: Age relaxation in Upper Age for the reserved category students is available as per the rules and guidelines of government available.
Educational Qualification
- Candidate applying for the different posts must have the minimum qualification of 10th or matriculation pass certificate from a recognized government educational board or council.
- In addition to this, the candidate must have obtained the technical certificate for the tradesman post he is applying from a recognized institute.
- Candidates applying for the Constable Driver post must carry a valid Driving License.’

Application and Exam Fee
- Candidates with General and OBC Categories need to pay INR 100 as the Exam Fees.
- Candidates with SC, ST and Ex-Servicemen categories need not pay any exam fee for the recruitment.
- The exam fee can be paid through Challan at SBI bank or through Net Banking via Payment Gateway.
